Fire Department Operations
The fire department responds to a wide variety of emergent and non-emergent situations. In 2006, the department responded to 731 complaints ranging from structure fires to medical calls to carbon monoxide checks.

Oconto Fire Department personnel are constantly training and retraining in an effort to stay prepared for whatever may come next. The diversity of emergency situations demanded of today’s fire department demand a lot of knowledge and skills from today’s firefighter.
