The fire department’s
primary duty is to provide fire and ambulance service to the City of
Oconto. Fire and ambulance service is also provided to the Town of Oconto,
portions of the Town of Little River, and ambulance service is provided to
the Town of Pensaukee by contractual agreements. The fire department
services approximately 119 square miles in its first-due area and assists
other agencies and municipalities beyond as needed.
